It’s almost here!

The end of the school year is almost here! Here are a few notes for the end of the year.

We have a few yearbooks left. See Maureen at the Welcome Desk to purchase one. They are $25 each and we accept cash or check only.

Check your child’s backpack for summer reading lists from the Media Center. Kids who read 10 books over the summer and turn their list in to Mrs. Wagner at the beginning of next year will be added to the summer reading honor roll!

Packing Day is Saturday, May 18. We will help the teachers and staff pack up the school and get ready to move to the Sutton building. Please join us if you can. We will begin at 9 am and work until everything is packed.

The concession stand will be open on Monday and Tuesday during recess, so send in some money with your child so they can buy a treat and we can reduce our inventory!

The Special Needs Parent Committee will meet for the last time this year on Monday, May 20 at 8 am at Another Broken Egg Cafe. Email Debbie Whitlock at dmassara@mindspring.com for more information.

Monday, May 20 is Spirit Night at Zoe’s Kitchen! Come out to celebrate the end of the school year and E. Rivers will get a portion of the sales that night.

The 5th grade promotion ceremony will be on Wednesday, May 22 at 10 am in the E. Rivers gym. Come celebrate our 5th graders as they move on to new horizons!!
