Our Teachers and Staff
The dedicated faculty and staff at E. Rivers make this school a very special place. Many of our teachers have advanced degrees and make it a priority to attend workshops to learn new teaching techniques. Our teacher retention is high, primarily due to the strong bond teachers create between one another and the families they serve. Their strong commitment and positive attitudes are reflected in the excitement of the students. Some interesting statistics about our teachers and staff include:
- Almost 50 teachers and professional staff make up the faculty at E. Rivers (K-5). Additionally, paraprofessionals and administrative professionals round out the staff.
- 50% of the teachers and professional staff have or are working on advanced degrees.
- 60% of the teachers and professional staff have been at E. Rivers for over 5 years, almost 50% for over 10 years, and 1 teacher who has been at E. Rivers for over 20 years!
