A Letter from 2011-12 PTA Co-Presidents, Elise Lowry and Kelly Hunt

Greetings!
As the 2011-12 PTA co-presidents, we would like to welcome you to E. Rivers Elementary.

Elise and her husband, Tom, live in the Loring Heights neighborhood, with their two children who are currently enrolled in Kindergarten and 3rd grade. Kelly and her husband, Jay, are 8 year residents of Peachtree Hills. Their two children are entering 3rd grade at E. Rivers and 7th grade at Sutton Middle School.

The goal of the PTA is to enrich every student’s education. Countless studies have shown that active participation in your child’s education greatly enhances their performance at school. Involvement in PTA is a great way to help your child achieve academic success.

PTA provides an array of enrichment programs at the school, including support for field trips, the arts and health and wellness. PTA also supports the school by coordinating volunteers to assist with communication, enhancing buildings and grounds and volunteering in the classrooms. Ultimately, the success of the PTA is reflected in the quality of education our children receive.
